At Studio Dentaire, we only use titanium implants from ASTRA TECH, a world leader in medical research in this field. Manufactured in Sweden and Germany, they accelerate the healing process and are delivered with a traceability sheet for optimal follow-up.
The implant resembles a small titanium screw that the implantologist will gently insert into the jawbone to replace the tooth root.
The bone will heal around the implant in the weeks following placement, thanks to the biocompatible titanium. This is called osseointegration. Once healing is complete, a ceramic crown can be fixed to an abutment attached to the implant.
There are many advantages to this method:
Strength: the implant resists the forces of mastication. Its lifespan will depend on the quantity and quality of the patient’s bone and gums, and other factors such as general health and the quality of brushing. In most cases, longevity is excellent: 16 years on average.

We’ll monitor the healing of the bone and be able to schedule crown placement within 3 to 6 months. You will then be offered a follow-up appointment.
